6mo + (just starting solids)

Chop and cook vegetables and them mash them up or purée them with a stick blender. Leave some texture.

  • Mango/strawberry to mix with yogurt
  • Kale/pear
  • Spinach/apple

Viscous fruits like bananas may trigger a gag/vomit reflex. Charlie regularly puked when we gave him pieces of banana to eat, but not small spoonfuls of mushed up banana.

Soft vegetables like boiled carrots and sweet potatoes cut into sticks so he can feed himself.
