Slice up your squash 1/4 inch or less as well as your onion and pepper.
Salt and pepper. Then add corn meal all over it with less amount of flour.
Heat your cast iron with oil or bacon grease. Put your veggies in and add a lid.
Flip the veggies after about 2 minutes.
Take the lid off put the heat a bit higher and let it crust up.
Flip and let it crust all over.
