I love what Ethan is doing here. Builds skin-on-frame St. Lawrence Skiffs. I thought they were guideboats when I first saw them.
No bottom board, and steam bent ribs instead of laminated. Keel is nailed/screwed on at first, then looks like the stringers are lashed.
Not having to laminate those ribs would save a heck of a lot of time. I wonder if we can make a hybrid style between the St. Lawrence and ADK Guideboat.
